Annapurna On Your Own(圖1)-速報App

Circling the Annapurna, an eight-thousander in Nepal, is considered one of the most beautiful hikes of the world. Most people start at an altitude of 800m above sea level in Besisahar. The climate there is tropical, bananas and tree ferns grow by the side of the path. During the next 10 days, the trail ascends slowly and continuously, but due to the various vegetation zones incredibly diverse, up to the pass Thorung La at 5416m. Right after the pass it descends rather quickly through an extremely dry area, passing the oasis of Ranipauwa, down into the worlds deepest valley of Kali Gandaki. In this increasingly green valley you will then walk for a few days before you reach Pokhara on one route or the other, Generally speaking, none of the routes described here requires technical skills; the routes are well developed and easy to find. Most of the daily stages can be varied and interrupted as you like, as the entire circuit runs through populated areas and you usually pass an accommodation every 2-3 hours. Nevertheless, the tour can not be described as "easy":

* The stage over the pass is long and very strenuous due to the high altitude, dangerous in bad weather or with insufficient acclimatization.

* Passages that have been destroyed by a landslide and have not yet been repaired may require surefootedness.

* If you are afraid of heights, crossing a suspension bridge or avoiding landslides can be a problem.

* A route planner: recommendations for a route given a fixed travel duration between 19 and 38 days, or alternatively calculation of the travel time based on a configurable list of options.

* A detailed description of the itinerary for each day, both in text form and graphically on an excellent and zoomable, very detailed map.

* A pack list including some equipment tips for drinking water treatment and GPS navigation

The app is a 1:1 copy of the website Link: http://annapurna.onyown.com. The only, but very significant, difference is the ability to download the very detailed and custom-made topographic map and to use it for offline navigation using the built-in GPS of your mobile phone during the trip through this region with low internet connectivity.
